
1469 à 1559: ***RANDHAWAS of ' Sahib Budha ' :
Bura or Sahib Budha, son of Suagga, was descended from the Mal* branch of the Randhawa.
From his early youth he attended Guru Nanak, and was called Budha, and became one of his
favorite disciples; and he continued in the service of five gurus successively from Guru
Nanak to
Guru Arjan.
Ten Randhawas descended from Sahib Budlha, whose names are as follows:-
The darbar of Sahib Ramkaur is situated in Netan (?) kot in Shakargarh tahsil, And that of
Sahib Anup, son of Ramkaur, is in the village of Little Teja in Batala tahsil.These three
darbars are in the possession of Udasi Sadhus.
The line of Sahib Badha terminated with Sahib Sujan Singh.
[ *Mal = a wrestler or powerful man. It is used as a nickname in the Malwa. ]
