A Sikh soldier on
the Flemish front. His uniform consists of a khaki pagri (turban), a long khaki kurta
(shirt / tunic) with two 'breast pockets', khaki battle trousers (jodhpur style) and
puttees. Both infantry and cavalry men wore a leather bandoleer. |
